Permanent Signing Systems
The 3M Diamond Grade (DG) Reflective Sheeting is a supper-high efficiency, full cube retroreflection sheeting designed for the production of permanent traffic control signs and delineators. The sheeting consists of a full cube prismatic lens element with a distinctive interlocking diamond seal pattern visible from the face of a smooth surface and also has a precoated adhesive protected by an easily removable liner giving the maximum possible retroreflectivity. DG is undoubtedly the best and premium quality reflective sheeting, consisting of prisms, that 3M has at the moment in its product line of Traffic Safety Products..
Diamond Grade Cube Reflective Sheeting when correctly applied will provide 10 years of effective performance life and more. DG Reflective Sheeting is designed for the production of durable road traffic signs, emblems, street name plate and other general signing. Driver Feedback Signs (DFS)
Driver Feedback Signs (DFS) are known as effective speed calming tools for traffic authorities. The new DFS models offers state-of-the-art two-color LED display technology for informing drivers about their vehicles speed and reminding them of the given speed limit. Vehicle speeds that are measured by the integral microwave radar are displayed and logged for analyzing the speed reduction in order to confirm the effectively of the DFS. Driver feedback signs are used on road sections where compliance with the posted speed limit is essential for traffic safety and quality of life.
Linear Delineation Systems
The 3M Linear Delineation System is a flexible, low-maintenance, highly visible solution to improve roadway safety. Dangerous curves, narrow two lane roads, construction work zones, bridge and tunnel contours, and permanent and temporary barriers all present unique challenges for roadway safety. Continuous, linear delineation can improve safety in these situations by making it easier to follow sharp changes in roadway geometry. LDS provides superior reflectorization even when approached at extreme angles of up to 70 degrees and offers unmatched benefits, value and performance against current systems of spot delineations.
